cannot view document in customer portal - gongsl - 06-12-2014

my OS is windows 7. I installed the vtigher 5.4 without changing any code. When it comes to the CRM system,I add one people in CONTACTS module, upload one txt file in document module and add a ticket in trouble ticket module for testing.Then I paste the customer portal enclosed in the attachment in the vtigerCRM directory and change the config.inc and portalconfig files for configuration. After I receive the userID and password.I just follow the instruction listed as follow:https://wiki.vtiger.com/index.php/Customer_Portal#Video_Tutorial
Finally, I can login as a contact member created before in CRM system.

In customer portal,The ticket I created in CRM system is listed in the ticket module.The problem is I cannot see any record in the documents module no matter who uploaded the file.By the way,except the configuration,I do not change any code.i don't know how to connect the contact with document

First step: make sure the contact is related to the document:
  • * go to the contact
    * go to the "more information" tab
    * open the documents related list and select the document
    * you should now see the document in the "+info" related list AND in the customer portal

Let me know if that works and if not I will try to give you some more hints

I do not see any data module in the customer portal. I can connect but I do not see any data on contact.

Hi,

Try to login to the coreBOS application directly with the REST user you have configured in the customer portal.

Make sure that this user has access to records on the modules. In other words, the customer portal can only access information that is available to the coreBOS user you configure to access.

Also some fields are mandatory, so you can't hide these from the customer portal REST user.

In short, make sure the user you are using to connect to coreBOS has access to the information you want to make visible on the customer portal application.

He probado con un usuario creado especialmente para el acceso del panel de control, y con el usuario admin, y sigue con el mismo problema, ésto lo estoy probando en local con Xampp 1.8.2 y en cpanel en un hosting y el problema es el mismo.

Instale el panel de control de vtiger 5.4 y funciona correctamente, sólo me muestra el módulo de incidencias como está seleccionado en la aplicación y sus registros, cosa que no pasa con el panel de control de corebos quite todos los módulos y deje solo el de indcidencias y me siguen apareciendo todos y en incidencias no me aparecen los registros.

No se lo que es el "panel de control", por favor sube un par de pantallazos

Después de cambiar los privilegios tienes que recalcular y borrar el cache en el portal:

protected/runtime/cache

puedes eliminar todo el contenido del directorio sin problemas

podría ser que hubiera algún problema con la versión de PHP. Mira en el directorio protected/runtime, si hay un fichero application.log mira a ver si hay algún error dentro del mismo

pero no me da ningún error cuando entro y selecciono incidencias.

en la busqueda, en incidencias, busco una incidencia que corresponda al contacto y me aparece el titulo al buscarlo me manda el siguiente error:

No hay ningún error importante ahí.

Yo creo que el problema está con el usuario que utilizas para conectar. O sea, en el fichero protected/config/PortalConfig.php has de poner un usario normal de tu coreBOS, de hecho podrías probar poniendo ahí el usuario admin, que tiene permiso para ver todo a ver que pasa.

Lo que está accesible en el portal viene definido por el perfil del usuario que utilizas para conectar, no por el módulo de CustomerPortal de coreBOS.

Generé una instalación limpia del corebos y del portal, detecte que si genero un usuario y éste no tiene privilegios de administrador, me manda el error The requested module does not exist in coreBOS., y sólo cuando cambio al usuario como administrador y limpio la cahce del portal, me permite entrar, pero no respeta la configuración del perfil. Pemitiendo ver, crear, editar y borrar. <!-- s:| --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_neutral.gif" alt=":|" title="Neutral" /><!-- s:| -->

Hola,

Acabo de montar una demo de coreBOS 5.5 y coreBOSCP asociado. Lo he instalado sin problemas y todo ha funcionando a la perfección sin ningún esfuerzo. He creado un usuario portal y simplement ha funcionado.
