I have noticed that some files in the master repository have either disapeared or been renamed compared to the initial corebos release.

Is this documented somewhere?

Mostly it will be documented in some ticket which should be referenced in the commit that changes the file

If in doubt, ask

For instance, most of those language files in modules/Emails/languages seem to have been renamed and others been added.
