There a small bug at editing user preferences

Always when edited, tag cloud is setting true ...

Example:

Edit your preferences, and set TAG CLOUD to Disable, and save [ OK ]

If you click EDIT ( again ) and SAVE, your TAG CLOUD is saved with ENABLED ( even you not change that flag .. )

It is working correctly for me.
Are you sure you applied the change correctly?
I am trying as the admin user, are you trying with a normal user?

I just updated the online demo and it seems to be working correctly there also:
