Something similar happened in the option lists, you changed something to solve, in the code
I test in chrome incognito window ... no cache

you set calendar to br in online demo ?
It is working correctly for me on the few modules I have tried in the online demo. Enter as admin user, go to preferences and select the BR language and give it a try. Please remember to reset the language back to english when you are done.
If you can reproduce your problem there let me know the steps and I'll have a look.
