even after removing folders from an email account in coreBOS it continues to display them

Supongo que ya lo habrás probado, pero a veces una limpieza de caché suele solucionar esos problemas.
Prueba a pulsar directamente el página CONTROL + F5.

Lo que a mi me pasa es que se queda pensando, y no descarga ningun correo.
