This would be an awesome feature to include since it would completely negate the need for a mobile app to be written.

This is on a road map, and I would like to see it in the next few months: coreBOSMove
We believe that native mobile apps are dead, incredible as that sentence may seem, with the power of the browsers and chromeOS and FirefoxOS coming strong, we think that is the way to go.
