I'd like to send out a standard e-mail to a group of accounts that have a common trait. The trait however is a bit complex: they need an asset with one or more specific products linked to their account. Can we create filters based on related record existance or am I better off with setting up a workflow that checks a checkbox in the account on asset save and then filter the accounts on that checkbox?

you need the checkbox and the update aggregation to evaluate the related records

That's what I was thinking, just wondered if we had some new magic in place. I can't keep up with all the new features we're implementing!
