Setting up a complete Asterisk integration

I've noticed Asterisk now has a REST API, in stead of the old AMI interface. I've also had complaints from my hoster about the quantity of calls to the server made by the JS interval loop that tries to catch incoming calls. I think at some point I'd rather just rewrite the PBX module to use the API and utilize modern browser notification toasts.

That would be wonderful! Let me know if I can help and remember that coreBOS has a native messaging queue, messaging is ideal for this type of integration
