The ADEGA Ourense delegation was created in 1979. At that time, environmental problems in the area were affecting the region. Concerned citizens took the initiative to form a local organization. It was later reorganized in 2003. The mission of the Ourense ADEGA is to protect the natural environment of the town by ensuring its sustainable development. A number of initiatives are being undertaken to preserve the area. Read below for more information.
