I've been considering purchasing itsapiens advance reporting tool fir 5.4 i current'y use corebos 5.5 should there be any issues with thus working together?

You should have no problem at all. I personally have never seen nor used the extension but it should work. In any case count on us to help you get it working if it doesn't
