I've gotten this question from the user of the system I manage. They'd like to have the following functionality:
A product manager should be able to set a max discount percentage for each product (and maybe services as well). When a salesman enters a discount that exceeds the maximum set for that product in quotes or sales orders, the system should not permit this and alert the salesman about the maximum discount. Is this something you would like to have in the base system? In that case I could open a branch for this.
