It would be really useful if the columns displayed in the Related List View (e.g. Contacts in 'More Information' under Organisations) can be modified to enable display of required data. An example is Assigned To. If that field is useless to me I would prefer to display another field or better still a 'custom field'. I have tried playing with the code in Contacts.php but I do not have enough PHP/MySQL knowledge to make the necessary modifications. I am sure it is trivially simple to modify code.

By way of background, I am new to vtiger but I gave up on v6 and have reverted to coreBOS 5.5 as I believe it is more stable and robust in terms of where it is going. We have a small firm that is highly specialised and we are using coreBOS to support our clients. We use it to manage the relationships and the workload - not to secure sales and so on - though we will be using Leads to follow up on enquiries and sales initiatives.

I am techno literate but am not a developer so I do need to be guided.

One of the issues that has been bothering me is the (apparent) lack of a one to many relationship (e.g. multiple contacts for an organisation) or the ability to have a 'repeating block' for multiple instances of the same data (in our case a client can have multiple directors and I need to keep half a dozen pieces of information for each director). From my limited knowledge I can only achieve this by repeating the fields and making the labels unique. As an example Director (1); Director (2) etc. It get complicated when there is a field in the information about each entity that repeats (e.g. Date of appointment (1); Date of appointment (2)). When I then want to create a report or a workflow that tests each field I then have to put in multiple tests (e.g. 'if Date of appointment (1) <> or Date of appointment (2)) etc etc.

Is there a simple solution to this issue or is it on the roadmap?

I know that all List View Filters Are assigned to a user. Is there a way to have them assigned to a role.

Example:
I have 2 employees in my Finance Department. With there own user log-in so i can track their history. Now there are certain filters I would like both of them to be able see.

Now I know of 2 ways I could complete this is either
a) make it public
b) Create a generic Role and have that role be a subordinate to these 2 users and they would see the filters.

If there is an easier please help me

Hi,

When am using smtp for sending email, i get the following error when i compose an email for a lead -

The first error that i get is -
Please check the current user mailid.It should be a valid mailid to send Emails

Then, when i add an email manually in the from field, i get the next error -
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/iperac/xyz.com/corebos-master/modules/Webmails/Webmails.php on line 745

I was using sendmail earlier but the emails appear in spam, so i switched to smtp.
What could be the problem here? please help.

I know as a security feature vtiger and corebos will auto log out a user after a certain time. is there a way to adjust how long it the system waits before auto logging out a user?

I do not know if this is something I have done but when I search for a phone number which is the most unique identifier to a record I seem to be getting to records showing after the search. One is the record i am searching and the second seems to be just a random. I have recently changed over to corebos and after a fresh install and set up I imported almost 10k records.

I want to have a workflow execute for all the leads. I obviously tried to to a mass edit and the screen just goes blank, i also tried to do 500, 300 , 100 even 50 at a time.

Is there an easier way than doing 20 at a time?

I also notice if i sometimes just cycle the edit button then save that the screen goes blank, what causes this
